Applications are invited for admission into a 6 months’ certificate course in Agroecology to be organized by the Centre for Pollination Studies in collaboration with Norwegian University of Life Science. This is an innovative course and involves classroom teaching in parallel with hands on training and project assignments.
The programme prepares students for a wide range of positions concerning organic agriculture and food systems, integrated and ecological farming, development projects, management of agricultural and natural resources, environmental protection, and further education and research. With hands on real-life experiences, field assignments, peer learning and action-reflection based methodology, the programme provides knowledge and skills for analysing, developing and supporting agro-ecological models in farm, farmclusters, villages and in wide range of situations. Certific ation will be based on continuous and comprehensive evaluations. Eminent professors, scientists and faculty from University of Calcutta, Centre for Sustainable Agriculture and Welthungerhilfe will guide the students.
The course will provide campus interview for successful students.
